The Growth Collective

Apr 15, 2020

Hurricane Katrina, the Boston Marathon Bombing, the September 11 terror attacks, and COVID-19...what do they all have in common?  More than we can imagine, beginning with the stress and ending with long-term impacts we can't yet see when it comes to the current pandemic.  The other connection they have is the guest of this podcast, Bob VandePol.  Bob is the leader who was called to guide teams through each of these crisis to help others lead with compassion and competence.

Bob currently serves as Executive Director of Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services’ Employee Assistance and Church Assistance programs where he leverages behavioral health expertise to support healthy, productive people and groups. In this episode, Bob walks us through steps individuals can take to be resilient and weather challenging times, in addition to outlining a process leaders can follow to facilitate individual and organizational recovery from a crisis.
